Claire Danes had been in my wish list forever. On the second season of Homeland, Carrie (Claire's character) gets kidnapped, hands ziptied (later ankles too) and OTM gagged. Two elements make this scene great in my opinion: first, Claire Danes; second, Claire Danes' acting. When an actress cannot speak, then her body language must convey the distress the character is going thru. Claire definitely pulls it off. The way she moves, the breathing noises she makes, the way she looks at the kidnapper... I think the wait was worth. This is the work of a great actress. The only unconvincing part were the hands in front and therefore, the possibility that the damsel could remove the gag by herself, but we have seen so many scenes that suffer from this that it would be unfair to discredit this one because of that. Besides, a scene like this makes justice to the classic OTM gag anytime. A keeper.
Claire Danes amordazada. Esta escena ilustra claramente aquello de que las cosas buenas siempre llegan para los que esperan. Después de tanto esperar a Claire, su debut llegó en la segunda temporada de Homeland. La serie es de las mejores en épocas recientes y la presencia de esta escena nos demuestra que series con esta profundidad y hasta sordidez, pueden contener el cliché clásico de la damisela en peligro manteniendo el buen gusto, sin caer en baños de sangre ni en violencia excesiva y desagradable. Claire Danes es hermosa y una super actriz.
Abbiamo visto Claire Danes da piccolina nello schermo televisivo e dopo cinematografico. Dopo tanti e tanti film e anni di lavoro, sempre con un livello ottimo nelle sue interpretazioni, da molto tempo stavamo aspettando per vedere la bellissima Claire come una dea imbavagliata. La seconda stagione di Homeland ci racconta come il suo personaggio, Carrie, viene rapita da un terrorista, legata e anche imbavagliata. E il risultato è una scena che unisce la grande capacità come attrice di Claire con la sua bellezza. Fantastica scena.
